-Coach Tara has been coaching volleyball (and various other sports) for about 25 years. I played rec center volleyball as a kid, high school volleyball, then intramural in college, and fell in love with grass volleyball shortly after college. I played mid-Atlantic adult USAV as a libero and have played many many doubles/4-person tournaments since college (which is a lot of tournaments)! I currently coach YMCA volleyball, have coached club volleyball through, and coached Colorado Youth League.
Coach Tara started teaching private/semi-private lessons winter 2019 at The Courts in Northglenn and group clinics in the summer 2020 and we've been having fun in the sun ever since, albeit I now have an official name for this endeavor, Colorado Summer Volleyball. My aim is to teach the basics of volleyball to the younger players, improve upon current skills with the older players, and instill a love for the coolest game on the planet for everyone...all while enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather!
Players will learn and practice skills via age/skill appropriate drills, games, discussion, and demonstrations. Players will receive instruction by Coach Tara and Junior paid coaches.
